MyREMAXPrivacy Policy — Google Calendar Integration

MyREMAX is a non-public, internal back-office platform used by authorized RE/MAX Türkiye employees and agents. This policy explains how MyREMAX handles data obtained from your Google Account through its optional Google Calendar integration.

1. Google Data We Access

When you choose to connect your Google Calendar, MyREMAX accesses:

  • Your Google Account email address — solely to show which account is connected and to synchronize with the correct account.
  • Events in your primary Google Calendar — event title, description, start and end time, all-day flag, recurrence rule and reminder setting.

MyREMAX does not read or store event attendees, location or attachments.

2. We Do Not Import Your Historical Data

Synchronization applies only from the date you establish the connection onward. Calendar events predating that moment are never read or imported.

3. How We Use the Data

The data is used solely to:

  • Display your events in the MyREMAX calendar,
  • Provide two-way synchronization between MyREMAX and Google Calendar (events you create in MyREMAX are pushed to Google Calendar, and events you create in Google Calendar are imported into MyREMAX),
  • Send reminders according to your preferences.

It is never used for advertising, profiling, marketing or training AI models.

4. Storage and Security

Event data and your Google connection record are stored on RE/MAX Türkiye's database servers. Access is restricted to authorized MyREMAX users and system administrators. Your calendar data is accessible only through your own account.

5. Sharing with Third Parties

Data obtained through the Google Calendar integration is never shared, sold or transferred to any third party. It is transmitted only between Google and MyREMAX to perform the synchronization.

6. Disconnecting and Data Deletion

You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your MyREMAX profile settings. On disconnect:

  • The Google change-notification subscription is stopped,
  • Stored access and refresh tokens are deactivated,
  • Events imported from your Google Calendar are removed from your MyREMAX calendar.

You may also revoke access directly at Google Account Permissions. The integration is optional — MyREMAX remains fully usable without connecting a Google account.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

MyREMAX's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
